Where Heritage Bakes Love

Baking has always been a cherished passion of mine, inspired by my mother, who shared the same deep love for creating delicious treats. My childhood is filled with fond memories of our home being infused with the inviting aromas of freshly baked goods, beautifully presented and made with love.

My baking journey continues today, with treasured recipes being shared and passed down to my own family. There is nothing more fulfilling than the heartwarming scent of homemade delights baking in the oven and the joy on my loved ones' faces as they savour each bite.

After spending 22 years living and teaching abroad, I finally returned home to my beloved South Africa. This return presented the perfect opportunity to combine my two greatest passions: teaching and baking.

Having experienced diverse cultures and cuisines while teaching baking classes internationally, I was inspired to continue sharing our traditional Cape Malay recipes with both locals and visitors from around the world.
